The Pavers Foundation have gifted an American Flag Football team a donation of £1000. The Foundation, have donated to the team after a successful application from Alice Gordon, a colleague at Pavers who plays for the Irish wolfhounds, through their employee grant application system.

The Irish Wolfhounds are an American flag football team based in Northern Ireland, who have helped Alice and many others both mentally and physically, and she is delighted to be able to do her part to help her club alongside the Foundation.

“This donation will really help get us to the IFAF world championships in Finland. Having a platform and funding for women in sport is particularly important to me as it’s been an overlooked area, having a women’s team creates a great environment where we can feel comfortable playing the sport we love while also supporting each other both inside and outside of the game. I can’t thank Pavers enough for their incredibly generous donation!” Alice commented.

Nick Fitzsimons, the Defensive Coach, and Head Coach, Alan Barnewell also expressed their gratitude to both the Pavers Foundation and Alice personally for applying; “A huge thank you to Alice and all at Pavers for their generous support. We are incredibly grateful to Pavers for their generous donation of £1,000. This support is crucial in helping the Irish Wolfhounds reach the IFAF Flag Football world championships. Pavers' commitment to our team exemplifies outstanding community spirit and dedication to fostering athletic excellence. Thank you for believing in us and contributing to our journey!"
