The Pavers Foundation recently supported a colleague who’s doing her bit for charity, and raising money for a good cause. Hayley Crow applied for a grant through the Pavers Foundation employee grant system, to help support the Stroke Association, a charity close to her heart, and was gifted a donation of £500.
The Stroke Association charity is dedicated to helping with the emotional, practical and financial cost of a stroke, and they fund research into rehabilitation to help stroke survivors. Hayley wanted to help this great cause, and on the 25th of May 2024, joined by her daughter Megan, she ran the Edinburgh marathon to help raise funds.
Claire Pell, from the Stroke Association commented: “We are so incredibly grateful to Hayley for raising both funds and awareness for us with this event”. Hayley also told us that “with the Pavers Foundation contribution and our donations we have raised near to £1000 for the charity”.
The donation will help go towards funding the support that the amazing people at the Stroke Association carry out, and the Foundation is proud to be able to do their part and donate on behalf of Hayley.
