Strensall Library

Strensall Library has received a £500 donation from the Pavers Foundation. The Foundation made the donation on behalf of Georgia Baxter, a Pavers colleague who applied for a grant through the employee-led, charitable giving scheme.

The small village library offers a number of different groups and activities for the community, from baby and toddler groups to Lego and craft clubs. ‘Strensall Library is a cornerstone of the local community’ says Georgia, who began volunteering at the library over a year ago. She adds, ‘Beyond being a place to discover great books, the library also has a wide range of activities for the local community. The manager and the regular visitors are kind and enthusiastic people making the library a genuinely great place to be’.

Kelly Dale, Library Manager, thanked the Pavers Foundation for the kind donation and added ‘This donation will help to improve the library facilities for the community of Strensall. Through donations like this we are able to keep our library up to date, by making the space modern, warm & inviting for all ages.’
