The St Leonards Hospice has recently received a donation from the Pavers Foundation. The donation was made following a successful grant application from Lewis Haw, a colleague at Pavers, and the Foundation is overjoyed to be able to help this great cause.
The St Leonards Hospice is a Yorkshire based charity, that specialises in providing support tailored to the specific needs of the patients, and their families and carers. This charity has helped so many people in so many ways, and that is why Lewis was so keen to raise some funds for them through the grant application.
“St Leonards are a hospice that have helped my family personally but have also helped so many people in York and are involved so much in the community. To be able to support a local cause through the Foundation is something really special and I’m glad that I can help such a great hospice through the Pavers Foundation,” Lewis commented.
Helen Williams, a member of the St Leonards Hospice team said “Thank you so much to Lewis for nominating us for this wonderful £1,000 donation from the Pavers Foundation. The care we provide to thousands of patients and families each year is only possible thanks to your generosity. Your support really does make a difference.”
