The Pavers Foundation, charitable employee-led initiative of leading footwear retailer, Pavers, have recently donated £1,000 to Thurlaston CE Primary School. The donation was made through a match fund initiative following an application from Samantha Grove, Customer Advisor at Pavers in Stapleton.
The Pavers Foundation encourages colleagues of the business to apply on behalf of charities and causes close to their hearts, which make a difference in areas of health, education and community.
The donation has been used to fund a new outdoor shelter for the school, which Samantha’s son attends. Samantha thanked the Foundation for this donation; “A huge thank you to the Pavers Foundation from my son’s school for helping to find their new shelter. The old was unsafe so had to be taken down but all the children love this new shelter, thank you again for making a difference, my little bookworm loves sitting in the shelter to read his book!”
The Pavers Foundation is delighted to make this donation to match funding raised by Thurlaston school’s friends and family members of the students, as well as those in the local community. The Foundation has donated over £2 million to good causes to date and continues to make a difference with every pair sold.
