Motor Neurone Disease Association

The Motor Neurone Disease Association recently received a cheque for a £1200 donation from the Pavers Foundation. The donation came after a successful grant application from Elen Lewis, a colleague from one of the North Wales stores.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association does vital work for both people living with the disease, and for their families and carers, and have multiple branches across the UK.

MND Association representative for their Northeast Wales branch Kate Cooper, commented "The Northeast Wales Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association were delighted to receive a cheque from the Pavers Foundation on Sunday. The donation will help fund our support meetings at Tweedmill.  We currently host two support meetings per month at the Tweedmill Shopping Outlet in St. Asaph. One for people living with MND and their families and one for Carers of people living with MND. We are very grateful to Elen for her nomination on our behalf."

Elen Lewis, who is a keen supporter of the charity, said she was “delighted to hand over this donation to such an important charity that supports people with MND and their families."
