Christians Against Poverty have received a £1500 donation from the Pavers Foundation. The UK wide charity was nominated for a grant by Kellie Trainor, a Pavers colleague from the Newtownabbey store, following a successful grant application, and recently got to hand the cheque over to Jacqui Robb, a member of Christians Against Poverty.
Since it was founded in 1996, Christians Against Poverty has specialised in helping people in need across the UK, with subjects like debt and emergency support. They help thousands each year with their expansive team, and the Pavers Foundation are proud to be able to donate the £1500 to them and their good cause.
“Thank you so much for this wonderful donation” Jacqui commented. “This money will go a long way in helping local people with food, gas and electricity.”
Kellie also told us she was “delighted to hand over this donation for such a good cause to our local community on behalf of Pavers.”
