Cerebra, a charity that supports children living with brain conditions, has received a £1,000 donation through the Pavers Foundation. The donation was maybe on behalf of Claire Davies, Supervisor at Pavers Carmarthen.
Based in Carmarthen, Cerebra are dedicated to helping children living with brain conditions and their families discover better lives together. Complex brain conditions can affect everyday activities and experiences making them more challenging. Cerebra supports children and families with advice through their Innovation Centre, the use of toys and books through their postal library service, sleep deprivation clinics and research into brain conditions.
On receiving the donation Sian Morris, Cerebra Call Centre Supervisor, said, “We are delighted to receive the donation from the Pavers Foundation, this will help us continue to provide vital support and enable us to reach and help many more families.”
Successful applicant, Claire, as well as personally knowing families that use the vital services on offer by Cerebra also previously worked for the charity before moving to work at Pavers. She has had first-hand experience in seeing how this important work impacts those who use the services on offer. Claire said, “Thank you so much to the Pavers Foundation for supporting Cerebra, I know the donation will make such a difference in helping families in need.”
