The Pavers Foundation have recently gifted a UK wide charity with a donation. Representatives from both Pavers and ANDYSMANCLUB received the cheque for £1000, after a successful application from Nicola Gadsby from the Pavers Foundation through the employee grant scheme.
ANDYSMANCLUB is a charitable organisation that coordinates weekly peer-to-peer support for any men who need it. The amazing volunteers and facilitators give men the chance to talk, and they aim to end any stigma around men’s mental health.
ANDYSMANCLUB commented, telling us: “By donating to ANDYSMANCLUB you are helping us support all our clubs across the UK, along with the men that use them and their families. You are also helping us open up new clubs to support more men across the UK and reduce the stigmas surrounding men's mental health.”
Nicola, a colleague from the Scarborough store also thanks the Foundation for the donation; “By putting in my grant application to Pavers Foundation I was able to successfully receive a cheque of £1000 towards my chosen charity which is ANDYSMANDCLUB. I feel very strongly that we need to help in any way to get rid of the stigmas surrounding men's mental health. Thank you again Pavers for giving me this opportunity to be able to help such a good cause.”
